Why Meat

I was reading NZ Beef and Lambs website and it is so educational around the questions of - Why eat meat?  I've choosen a few facts to share with you.

As part of a healthy balanced diet, the World Cancer Research Fund and the Ministry of Health recommend eating up to 350-500g of cooked red meat per week, that’s 3-4 meals a week.

Red meat is a rich and easily absorbed source of protein, iron, zinc & vitamin B12, essential for all, especially children, adolescents, pregnant women, athletes & older adults.

Beef and lamb provide more than protein and iron, with a unique nutrition package including B vitamins, zinc, selenium, vitamin D, monounsaturated fat and all essential amino acids.

You can't beat our taste

What we can guarantee is that your meat will taste great!  Often in NZ the best meat is exported and we are left with the rest!  Not on our watch, we share the whole animal with you and will guarantee that you and your family enjoy every fork full.

Our animals are all grass fed on lush Hurunui pastures, with a favourable  climate,  producing healthy lean and tender animals that translate into great tasting cuts of meat.

Enjoy!
