We know with any small business starting that there will be  range of questions. We haven't got all the answers yet but will try our hardest to help and support you ordering with us!

Where does your meat come from?

Our beef and sheep are sourced locally from Hurunui Farms. Our pork from the local pig farmer up the road in Hawarden,  and our Chicken from the Canterbury Plains.

Are your Products Organic or Free Range?

Definately Free Range!  At this point we have no plans to be certified organic. 

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes we do, that is the core of our business but as the boxes grow who knows. Please do call us if you are a resturant or business that uses meat products. 

You say that the boxes cover a number of meals, what do you mean?

Some people dont neccessarily use the cuts for dinner, they may use in a recipe for lunch, a picnic or snack.   It can alos depend on the size of your family and age of the children. A four year old will eat less thatn a 12 year old.

Is your meat fresh or frozen?

It may be a mix depending on the number of animals we are procesing each week and as we grow this will get change. You can easily refreeze meat. It does not effect the taste but you may lose a little moisture which is undetectable.

Do you deliver across New Zealand?

Yes we do. Its early days so bare with us as it settles. Boxes will be dispatched and arrive by courier the following day. They will alert you to the delivery.  Ensure you are home or leave a message at checkout to leave with a neighbour rather than leave the meat out in the sun.  Boxes do not have to signed for.

They arrive with ice packs and are well insulated.  Please refridergate or freeze on arrival.

We see you do dog food what is in it?

It is a mix of Beef Mince and Offal, balanced for a dogs diet.
